A guild of skilled mercenary warriors, The Wayward are known through the realms for
their lack of conscience. The price of their service insures they never remain with any
master for long, but the quality of work leaves nothing to be desired. The Guildmaster,
Tai Bleyhad, is still spoken of with awe in mercenary and even assassin circles, though
he hasn't been available for hire for quite a while.
Our Purpose
The mission of the Wayward is to provide protection and military might to the highest
bidder. No mission is denied, provided the price is adequate. Only limited time contracts
are accepted, though provision for extending contract duration is negotiable. No client will
have sole rights to our service in any conflict. However, strict adherence to signed
contracts is enforced (for both guildmembers and clients).
Our Philosophy
Conscience is for those with the luxury to have one. The Wayward have not the luxury
nor inclination to require a moral center. Money is our only true and continuous master.
It bears no hate, love, or vengence. It only exists, as do we. Emotion is a luxury afforded
the wealthy and the weak. We seek wealth and have no weakness.
