Not all Stalkers
are created equal. The Seer-Stalker is as specialized at hunting their
prey as any other assassin. Powers of each type of Stalker vary,
depending upon what will best help them defend against and do the most
harm to their target.
The Seer-Stalker, also called Invisible Stalkers, are unable to be seen
by any divinatory magic or ability. Any fortune or forecast given with
a Seer-Stalker as a factor is not going to include their participation.
They are also granted the ability to sense magical items or persistent
effects. As their power increases, a Stalker's sensitivity to magical
emanations increases as well.
The Unholy Daggers carried by the Seer-Stalkers are specially created
to meld with the Stalker and disappear into the flesh of the hand with
but a thought. The daggers also leech the divination ability of those
pierced with it, in effect draining a wizard or Seer of their ability
and lifeforce. Outside the final execution of a target, there are no
limitations to the Stalkers weapons. Poisons, magic, spells and steel
are all viable offensive weapons when dealing death.
|    The Stalker-Lord
grants spells to the most powerful of his following, when a novice becomes a full member of the
Society of Silence. From then on they are released from the bindings of
their original guild and given power over the dead, animals, plants,
and the ability to do damage simply by touch. The power of spells
granted increases as the Stalker gains rank among the Silent.
The limitations imposed on the Faithful is that they
may not use any kind of divination spell, item, or power. To counter-act some of the
negatives, Seer-Stalkers are also granted the ability to detect magic
simply by passing near to it, which is by far the most potent divination.
Seer Stalkers are also limited in their choice of armor; nothing heavier
than light chain can be worn. The quality of armor must be high to wear
anything beyond studded leather, and it must be made of the same
materials used to create mage-armor, otherwise even light chain
interferes with the Stalkers immunity to divination, allowing their enemies to locate them. |
