Priests

Clerics

A cleric is a warrior-priest. Depending on their deity, they have limitations to armor, weapon selection (usually to blunt weapons mace, flail, staff, etc), and spells. The clerics can either be adventurers adding their healing ability and supportive magic to the group, or going alone to spread the word of their deity through assistance to others and brave deeds.

Druids

The druid is nature's guardian. They have similar powers to a cleric, except they gain their strength from the earth itself and so gain power over plants, animals and even the earth itself. Their armor and weaponry are very limited, but powerful druids have some spells like no other. Their neutral alignment precludes them from doing more than protecting and respecting the land.

Specialty Priests

The specialty priests of each deity are imbued with advanced power and the blessing of their god. They are very limited in their choices of weapons, armor, and even riches and companions, depending upon the beliefs of their faith. Below is an example of how a particular faith may have both common(cleric-type) and specialty priests.

Correll's Faithful

Druids of Correll

Druids of Correll are priests of Correll, the Lord of the Celtic people. They have very similar abilities to the standard druid, but hold a place of high esteem among the southern human folk. They adjudicates and perform the ceremonies of the southern human culture. They don't protect groves, but do have an affinity for the several holy places in the south fields.

Bards

The Celtic bard is the keeper of the history of his people and assists the Druids of Correll in adjudication and all ceremonial duties. They have very limited priest abilities and the charms and song of the standard bard.

Manteis

Manteis, or Seers, are the specialty priests of the faith. They have been granted the "sight" by Correll to lead the priesthood and the people in the ways of Correll. They are able to see into the future and learn the outcome of any action.
